Lip dub per la llengua catalana – Catalunya (Oficial)
Lip dub for the language was filmed on the 15th and 16th of April 2011 in various locations in Barcelona. More than 1500 people took part, some of them celebrities. This initiative was organised by the Plataforma per la Llengua (pro Catalan language organisation) together with 23 organisations of immigrant people. The objective is to illustrate the role of the Catalan language as the shared language in Catalan society, as it is a key element for the social inclusion of immigrant people and guarantees social cohesion. The song chosen was “Corren”, from the band “Gossos”, courtesy of Música Global.
